All season-long premium subscribers will receive exclusive previews for the upcoming round of Bundesliga fixtures. Today, game week 13 kicks off! There is a huge match in the title race on Sunday, an opportunity for FC Augsburg to continue their unbeaten run and countless other exciting encounters to keep you entertained.

FC Bayern v Union Berlin

FC Bayern continued their assault on league-leaders Bayer Leverkusen last matchday, temporarily even going top of the table after their 1:0 victory over FC Köln on Friday. The scoreline speaks of a difficult test, but all in all, Bayern were extremely comfortable from start to finish. The Bavarians took 21 shots to their host's 6, and on a better day, Thomas Tuchel’s side could have easily dispatched Köln with 4 or 5.

Hoping to register their first-ever victory over Bayern are Union Berlin. Die Eiserne appointed a new head coach last Sunday, with the Croatian Nenad Bjelica inheriting the role Urs Fischer held for over 5 years.

The 52-year-old Bjelica holds an extensive managerial CV that includes stops in Austria, Poland, Italy, Croatia, and, most recently, Turkey. In his opening press conference, Bjelica highlighted himself as a manager who demands intensity and dominant football, but his mid-week Champions League debut looked a lot more like another miserable performance from the final days of the Fischer era.

Die Eiserne spent over an hour with a one-man advantage, yet were ultimately lucky to even come out with a point against Sporting Braga. How it will all play out on Bjelica’s Bundesliga debut is now a more pressing concern in Berlin. Die Eiserne have collected only 7 points this season and are heading for relegation if they can not find the turn-around on the pitch.

Prediction: FC Bayern Win

RB Leipzig v FC Heidenheim
